I was praying about the Corona virus intensely. Then I opened the Bible and read just one verse: “Everyone in Babylon will run about like a hunted gazelle, like sheep without a shepherd. They will try to find their own people and flee to their own land.”
My jaw dropped. This was exactly what was happening in the world! Borders were closing. People were returning to their own land. The Corona virus had caused the impossible to happen. Countries were closing their borders, air traffic was stopping and everyone was fleeing back to their native land.
I prayed: “Lord, why are you showing me this?” Then he showed me 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
I feel like the Lord is saying if people will humble themselves and pray and seek His face and turn from their wickedness the God will heal the land.
Dream of the snake
Then I had a dream. In the dream, I was on my knees asking God for grace upon my family and to forgive our sins. In the dream, I prayed the blood of Jesus over our bodies, minds, and souls and thanked Jesus that He paid the price for our sins. Then suddenly I saw a big snake coming toward us. But as I was praying its head was chopped off. It kept wriggling in front of me, but had no head and couldn’t bite us.
It was clear: The snake represented an evil attack and was associated with the Corona virus. But God said that if we humble ourselves and pray, and repent of our sins and seek His face, then he will cut off the head of the snake. In the dream, we especially needed to intercede for the Netherlands and also for all nations.
The Netherlands: Yellow daffodils growing from back and white stones. Early in the morning, I had another vision and saw several old black and white pictures of the Netherlands. Then I suddenly saw a bright yellow daffodil growing from between the old cobbled stone roads. The daffodil is one of the main flowers of the Netherlands. It represents our hope.
So do not fear. From the ancient cobbled streets of the Netherlands God will bring forth hope.
God is saying… there is hope. Do not fear. There will be a time of trial. But if we are willing to pray and humble ourselves before God and repent for the sins of our nation, then God will cut off the head of the snake and soon the yellow daffodil will start to grow out of the ancient streets and bring colour, life and revival back to our country.
Many people have prophesied about a coming revival and are now wondering, “What’s going on?” I still believe the revival will come. Revival often comes after a time of trial, because the enemy tries to stop it. So don’t be afraid during the plagues. In times of trouble, we are seeing the power of God. The greater the resistance, the greater the revival. Meanwhile, pray Psalms 91, 23 and 18 over your family and proclaim the blood of Jesus to be on the doorposts of your homes, your hearts, your families and friends. There is power in the blood of Jesus and this plague will pass you by.
